When I audited bernadwp.com, the fundamentals were embarrassingly human: no server page cache at all (every visitor re-rendered PHP from scratch), 54 of 61 images loading eagerly, and five font weights when three would do.

What was done

LiteSpeed page cache activated and verified with cache-hit headers. Every below-the-fold image lazy-loaded, including the 42-logo marquee. Font payload cut from 5 weights to 3. The hero photo preloaded as the LCP element. A double image query in the logo marquee got fixed along the way.

Measured result

Lighthouse mobile: 86/100 performance with 0 ms total blocking time and 0 layout shift. First contentful paint under a second; time-to-first-byte dropped from ~715 ms to ~365 ms on cache hits.
